Maura Higgins IS set to enter the I’m A Celeb jungle – as a latecomer

I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! is set to return for yet another year as celebrities get ready to enter the Australian jungle.

Ant and Dec are returning as the hosts with the launch show taking place this Sunday, November 17th.

As the show sets to return to the jungle, many fans begin to speculate which celebs will take on the infamous Bushtucker Trials.

 

On Monday, the lineup was officially revealed as fans found out if the rumoured campmates are actually entering the jungle.

Amongst the lineup were stars such as Coleen Rooney, Tulisa Contostavlos and Barry McGuigan joining the show.

However, there was one contestant that fans were shocked to see wasn’t on the list.

It was previously reported that Love Island star Maura Higgins was set to enter the jungle this year.

Fans took to social media, shocked that the reality star wasn’t on the lineup.

One fan wrote: “Where’s @maurahiggins”

Another commented: “Maura????”

A third added: “I don’t see Maura xx” as a fourth said: “Maura is a late arrival because she will bring the drama 🤣”

However, fans have speculated that Maura is still on the lineup but will join as a latecomer alongside Reverend Richard Coles.

The Sun confirmed that the two would enter the jungle after the first 10 make the campsite

A source told The Sun of Maura spot in the jungle: “With Tommy Fury pulling out it gave show bosses the opportunity to look at other Love Island stars and Maura stood out as the perfect candidate.”

“She’ll bringing a bit of glamour to the jungle and make a brilliant campmate because she’s got a great sense of humour and is bound to get on with everyone.”

“It’s shaping up to be a strong year for woman on I’m A Celebrity this year.”
