Lana Del Rey has addressed the photoshopped comments on TikTok of a fake feud with Lizzo.
The controversy started when the account Drop Pop posted a screenshot of a recent TikTok video that Del Rey, 39, had posted on X (formerly Twitter).
In the comments section, she and Lizzo, who were furious on social media after the presidential election, exchanged offensive remarks.

The original Drop Pop post included a screenshot of Lizzo’s alleged mean comment, which read: “I’d like to see you back on the charts.”
Lana supposedly replied: “I would love to see you run a treadmill.”
However, the remarks were made up and were uploaded by the Drop Pop account, which presents itself as a satirical parody of well-known entertainment news aggregation accounts.
Despite the account’s transparency on post-parody news, many users who were not already followers only saw the post through retweets and algorithmic recommendations that failed to include that crucial context.

Now, it has been reported that Lana Del Rey has addressed the comments.
Writing in the comments of an instsagram account that posted the original comments, Lana wrote: “I don’t think I have an official TikTok, other than the grants one, or a Twitter, very random.”
However, the Drop Pop account that made the post has now been removed.
Complex reports that the post had at least 20 million impressions, 380,000 likes, and 22,000 reposts.

After a follow-up post featured a phoney screenshot of Lizzo expressing her hope that “that alligator eats your big a**,” which seemed to be a reference to Lana’s new husband Jeremy Dufrene, who leads alligator tours, fans remained transfixed to the made-up back-and-forth.
“You’d know about eating biggie,” the fake Lana Del Rey responded.
