I was giving out clothes to a girl about 2-3 years old. A mother texted me, stating she is in a bad circumstance and her daughter had nothing to wear; could I give her these things via post? I wanted to urge her to go for a hike, but then I realized, “Who knows what really happened there?”
So I sent them all at my own expense. A year later, I received a parcel. There were almonds, dried salmon, handmade marmalade, and other treats. It was sent by the same woman.
Her black streak ended, her husband obtained a fantastic job, and she decided to reward everyone who helped them during a terrible time. It was both unexpected and lovely.
