😱😟Top model Luciana Curtis, along with her husband and their 11-year-old son, was abducted in Brazil.

A shocking incident took place in the Brazilian city of São Paulo. Top model Luciana Curtis was having dinner at a restaurant in the Alto do Lapa neighborhood with her husband Enrique Gendre and their 11-year-old son. The family was grabbed outside the establishment. For 12 hours, the model and her family were held captive in a shabby wooden shack in a poor neighborhood, where the only furnishings were a mattress, a toilet, and a sink.

The alarm was raised by the couple’s eldest daughter. She woke up in the morning to find that her parents and brother were missing. The teenage girl called a close relative, who then contacted the police. Once the search for the family began, the criminals became frightened and released their captives. The kidnappers left the shack, taking Curtis’s car with them.

Terrified, the couple sought help from locals, who quickly took them to a safe place. A representative for the top model confirmed the incident to the local press. “The family was released, Luciana and her loved ones are safe and doing as well as possible,” said the model’s spokesperson.

Luciana herself is currently in shock from the terrifying ordeal and has not commented on the situation. It was later revealed that during the 12 hours the family was held captive, the criminals managed to transfer money from their bank cards to their own accounts. A criminal case has been opened, and the investigation is being handled by a specialized police unit focused on kidnapping cases. Authorities are analyzing security footage from the unnamed restaurant where the gang operated. Detectives have already located the shack where the family was held.

“Armed criminals approached the victims at the entrance of the restaurant and took them hostage. During a search carried out by special police teams, the gang abandoned the family and fled,” the statement read.

Luciana was born in São Paulo to British businessman Malcolm Leo Curtis and Brazilian teacher Katia Maria Furtado de Mendonça Curtis. She began her modeling career at 14. In 1993, she was a finalist in the “Brazilian Supermodel of the World” competition. Curtis has graced the covers of CosmopolitanMarie Claire, and other fashion magazines.

The model starred in a L’Oreal advertising campaign alongside Beyoncé. Earlier this year, she appeared with other colleagues on the cover of ELLE Brazil. This issue was dedicated to the country’s supermodels, who have been making their mark internationally since the late 1990s, walking for major brands and becoming muses for legendary stylists and renowned photographers. Luciana spends most of the year living with her family in New York, though she often visits her homeland.
