Maura Higgins is rumoured to be REPLACING Maya Jama as UK Love Island host.
After taking on the role of Love Island host in 2023, Maya presented Love Island Games and Love Island: All-Stars.
In January 2023, Maya replaced Laura Whitmore as the presenter of Love Island.

Now, it has been rumoured that Maya is allegedly thinking of moving on from the show, with Maura Higgins rumoured to replace her.
A TV source told The Sun: “Maya adores hosting Love Island and thinks it’s a great fit for now.”
“But she’s keen to leave on a high and keep her career moving forward on the right tracks.”
“She is incredibly ambitious and would like to keep focusing on primetime presenting opportunities. She also has hopes of working in America and doesn’t want to be tied down.”

The source added that bosses at ITV allegedly said Maura Higgins would be the perfect replacement if Maya decides to leave.
They went on: “She has been building up her skills as a presenter and is very much part of the Love Island family. She also has the unique perspective of having appeared herself as a contestant.”
“She’s just also had a successful stint on I’m A Celeb so the world is her oyster now.”

In January 2023, Maya replaced Laura Whitmore as the presenter of Love Island.
As one of the most sought-after presenters in the UK, Maya earned £2.5 million, according to the Sun last month.
According to her MIJ & Co Entertainment Ltd’s accounts submitted to Companies House, the company has £416,000 in investments and £1.8 million in cash deposits.
In addition, she paid an enormous company tax bill of about £500,000, which equates to a taxable income of approximately £2.5 million.
