The clip, which was recently shared on Reddit, shows Stern openly making comments about Vergara’s chest while also trying to throw in some Spanish during his broadcast, leading to an awkward and unsettling exchange.
“I was trying to tell her I have a big penis but I think I said I have a big burrito,” he admitted during the segment.
“You’ve taken off your coat. You do have a big chest, and I’m going to tell you something – don’t touch it. I like it,” he remarked.
Vergara, who was 31 years old at the time of the interview, appeared visibly uncomfortable with his line of questioning. She politely responded by saying: “Thank you very much.”
“Your mother gave you the best advice, don’t touch those boobs, alright?”
The situation only escalated further when Stern began asking if Vergara had breastfed her son, steering the conversation into an even more uncomfortable direction.
“Oh that must have been unbelievable.”
Vergara quickly clapped back, clarifying: “That wasn’t unbelievable, I was like 19.”
By this point, Vergara looked extremely uneasy with the entire conversation and bluntly responded: “No respect here.”
“That kid must have been fat from eating all that milk. I would love to feed from you.”
“If you don’t want to go out with me, at least let me feed from your chest.”
Vergara then reminded him that she was not pregnant, but Stern responded yet again with: “Oh, that can be arranged.”
Another user chimed in with: “I’ve seen too many interviews where people disrespect Sofia, it’s horrible and she always handles it gracefully.”
And a third added their thoughts, saying: “I really didn’t think it could get any worse after the first thing he said, but man was I wrong.”
