“I was placed in intensive care. The doctor asked if I could even guess where I might have gotten such a serious infection in my knee, and all I could think about was the shoot where I spent hours crawling on the Walk of Fame. I had to tell him — especially since he was literally looking at me with disgust,” Cyrus said during an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
The singer also mentioned that her poor health created challenges in her work. She had to perform at a New Year’s event while suffering from a ruptured ovarian cyst. In addition, Miley shared that she turned down touring because she can no longer sing live for extended periods due to a vocal cord polyp.
