A transgender traveler says she was left in tears after a TSA agent allegedly punched her in the testicles during a security check at JFK Airport.
The woman, who has not been identified, posted about the incident on social media before later deleting her posts. Screenshots of the posts were shared by the Daily Mail. She claimed the agent reacted aggressively after discovering she was trans.
“hi so a tsa agent at jfk airport punched me in the genitalia, yelled at me for having a penis (?) and humiliated me in front of everyone after i told her to please stop,” she wrote, alongside a photo of her crying in an airport bathroom.
She said she felt publicly humiliated and in pain, adding that the situation got even worse.
Claims TSA Agent Followed Her to the Bathroom
According to her post, the TSA agent allegedly followed her into the women’s bathroom.
“[The TSA agent] followed me into the women’s bathroom and began talking about me to a coworker while I sobbed in a stall,” she wrote, asking followers for advice on what to do next.

She claimed she stayed there for over an hour, still in pain.
“My balls still hurt so bad,” she wrote in a follow-up post.
She Doesn’t Want the Agent Fired — But Wants Education
Despite what she described as a humiliating and painful experience, the traveler said she wasn’t seeking revenge or job loss.
She said she doesn’t want the agent fired, but wants “her educated and the entirety of tsa abolished altogether.”
Screenshots of her comments spread quickly across social media, sparking debate about TSA training and treatment of transgender travelers.
JFK Airport Responds
JFK Airport responded publicly online, apologizing after her posts went viral.
“We apologize again for your experience,” the airport wrote, according to the Daily Mail. “Your comments have been noted and shared.”
The TSA has not issued a full public statement about the incident, and it’s unclear whether an investigation is underway.
