Emily Ann Roberts Teaches Ella Langley How To Can Tomatoes — And Captures Every Wholesome Moment

Ella Langley recently visited fellow rising country star Emily Ann Roberts, and what began as a casual evening quickly turned into a full-on “memaw hobby” lesson. Roberts, who proudly calls herself a “yeehaw memaw,” wasted no time teaching Langley the art of canning tomatoes — and the two documented the entire process in a charming series of videos that country fans can’t get enough of.

Roberts first made her mark on Season 9 of The Voice, finishing as runner-up under the guidance of coach Blake Shelton. Since then, she’s toured with Shelton, signed with RECORDS/Sony Music Nashville, and even provided the singing voice for Trixie in Disney World’s Country Bear Musical Jamboree.

When she isn’t performing, Roberts loves staying busy with her favorite old-fashioned hobbies: gardening, crocheting, and canning. So when Langley dropped by, Roberts saw the perfect opportunity to pass along some of her homespun knowledge.

The two spent the evening peeling tomatoes, prepping jars, and whipping up homemade marinara sauce. Roberts even sent Langley home with a basket of canned goods — including a few items for Miranda Lambert.

The night’s events were shared across four videos posted on the Sasser House Instagram page, run by Roberts and her husband, Chris Sasser. Langley appears in three of the videos, laughing, learning, and enjoying the cozy chaos of the kitchen.

Langley herself has admitted that she turns to Roberts’ calming homemaking videos after stressful days — so filming some together felt natural. Fans loved every second, calling the clips “sweet,” “comforting,” and “friendship goals.”

Ella Langley’s Extraordinary 2025 Continues

The quiet evening at Roberts’ home was likely a welcome breather for Langley, whose career has exploded throughout 2025.

This year alone:

She’s earned multiple gold and platinum certifications

Her CMA Awards performance of “Choosin’ Texas” propelled the song to #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs

Spotify named “Choosin’ Texas” the Best Country Song of 2025

Her duet with Riley Green, “you look like you love me,” swept the CMA Awards — winning Music Video of the Year, Song of the Year, and Single of the Year

Looking ahead, Langley is deep into work on her next album, expected in 2026. In a recent interview with Audacy Music’s Katie & Company, she teased:

“I can’t tell you the title yet… but I know exactly what I want in it and how it sounds. I have such a clear vision for this record.”

Given their chemistry, fans are already wondering whether the new album might include a collaboration with Emily Ann Roberts.
