Ava Phillippe is ready to make a name for herself on Doctor Odyssey.
The 25-year-old daughter of Reese Witherspoon and ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, 50, is boardingThe Odyssey on this week’s episode of the ABC series, making her acting debut as one of three college “vixens” who have set their sights on Max (Joshua Jackson), according to an official synopsis.
In a behind-the-scenes clip shared on Doctor Odyssey‘s social media accounts, Ava revealed that she will be playing a girl named “Veronica” on the episode premiering on Thursday, April 3.

The video also shows one of her wardrobe pieces — a two-piece string bikini eerily similar to that her mother, 49, wore for her Legally Blonde character Elle Woods’ Harvard video application essay in the 2001 film.
The other two “vixens” are played by Paris Jackson, the daughter of Michael Jackson and Debbie Rowe, and Charlotte Lawrence, the daughter of Bill Lawrence and Christa Miller. Elsewhere in the episode, fans can expect to see Tristan (Sean Teale) facing “his drinking problem while other passengers’ struggles keep the medical team on their toes.”

According to TV Insider, additional guest appearances include Ariel Yasmine, Anthony Turpel, Noah Beck and Kathryn Newton, who previously played Witherspoon’s on-screen daughter on Big Little Lies.
While Ava has previously ventured out into modeling, she told the Daily Pop in December 2021 that she wasn’t ruling out acting and was not “putting all of her eggs in any one basket.”
She also credited her parents as being the driving force behind having a career of her own.

“My parents have always encouraged me to choose the path that’s right for me and, you know, guide me along the way to make better choices than I might make. I’m so grateful for that,” said Ava.
“That is such a privilege to have parents that support you in that way and to want you to be who you truly are meant to be,” she continued. “So I think I’m trying to do that.”
In addition to Ava, Witherspoon is also a parent to 21-year-old Deacon Phillippe with Ryan. She also shares son Tennessee James Toth, 12, with her ex Jim Toth.
