New York City-born rapper Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, professionally known as Cardi B, surprised a motherless babies home in Lagos with numerous thoughtful gifts.
According to a report by Mmaduabuchi F. Okoye, Cardi B shared a post showing her shopping at the Ebeano Supermarket in Lekki, Lagos, where she purchased various items for babies. After completing her shopping, Cardi B and her management team visited the Motherless Babies Home on Kenneth Agbakuru Street, Off Admiralty Way, Lekki Phase 1, Lagos.
The gifts she brought included baby diapers and a wide range of food items. On her social media page, Cardi B expressed her gratitude to the women and men who nurture these children, emphasizing that they need just a little more love and protection to prepare them for a better future. She highlighted the importance of people like them.
Cardi B’s manager, Brooklyn Johnny, also posted on his social media, mentioning that they spent their only free time in Nigeria shopping for children in need. He noted that they bought as much as their convoy of vehicles could carry.
