When Moka was rescued on June 11th, he was a shadow of what a puppy should be. Found in a dark, abandoned room in a puppy factory, he and several other dogs had been left behind when the illegal operation was discovered and shut down. Starving and terrified, these pups had spent their lives in confinement—used for profit, then discarded without a second thought.

Though authorities eventually stepped in to rescue the animals, the trauma they endured ran deep. Among them, Moka was the weakest. He needed emergency veterinary care right away, including oxygen support and a blood transfusion just to stay alive.
At the clinic, Moka’s condition was heartbreaking. Malnourished and suffering from severe skin disease, he flinched at human contact—his short life had taught him to expect fear, not affection. While some of the other pups started to recover and found loving homes, Moka remained behind, too fragile and overlooked.

Despite everything, his rescuers never gave up. They stayed by his side, committed to his healing. Over time, small signs of hope began to appear. He started eating on his own.

Sunshine warmed his fragile body during short outdoor visits, helping strengthen his immune system. With continued medicated baths, his skin began to heal.

By day 15, Moka had made incredible progress. He was eating better, adjusting to care routines, and even showing glimpses of his true personality.

Though he wasn’t yet strong enough for adoption, he was getting closer each day—proof of how even the most broken lives can be rebuilt with patience and love.

Moka’s journey is a powerful reminder: no animal should be forgotten, and every act of kindness can change a life.
