Such was the situation for Kuya Bon, a dog left to fend for himself after his owner deemed him “useless” following a car accident.
Kuya Bon’s former owner showed no compassion and turned him out onto the streets, the only home Kuya Bon had ever known.
For quite some time, Kuya Bon wandered the streets, enduring harsh weather, including heavy rains during monsoon seasons. His survival is nothing short of miraculous.
Some hope arrived when a compassionate woman saw Kuya Bon from afar. She promptly brought him some food and watched as he laboriously crawled to the bowl, eager to eat despite his condition. Recognizing his urgent need for veterinary care, she decided to help him using her own resources.

<p>While waiting for Kuya Bon to undergo x-rays, the woman reached out to a local animal rescuer. She pleaded for assistance, as Kuya Bon could no longer be left on the streets.</p>
<p>The rescuer agreed to help, and Kuya Bon is currently recovering at a veterinary clinic. His future is still uncertain, but one thing is assured: Kuya Bon will never be left to struggle on the streets again.</p>
