Three weeks ago, a puppy named Rocco was found in poor condition along a roadside in Seville. He was quickly brought to our rescue facility for urgent medical care, and upon examination, Rocco was found to be suffering from four serious illnesses: leptospirosis, anaplasmosis, leishmaniasis, and heartworm disease. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of our team, Rocco is now on the mend and showing remarkable signs of recovery.
As we observe Rocco’s journey to better health, we are filled with gratitude for the tireless work of animal rescue groups like ours, Spain—a dedicated organization focused on aiding animals in distress.
Our mission involves saving animals that have been abandoned or mistreated, showcasing this work through engaging content on platforms like YouTube and Facebook. These videos highlight the entire rescue process, from bringing an animal to safety to ensuring it receives the necessary medical attention.
Our straightforward yet impactful videos have resonated globally, garnering an overwhelming response from audiences and driving us to continue our vital work. Nonetheless, like many animal rescue organizations, we are facing financial challenges that threaten our mission.
This year, we have been particularly affected by the ongoing economic downturn, partly fueled by the war in Ukraine, which has strained European economies.
Donations have dwindled as families tighten their budgets, affecting our capacity to provide for the animals we rescue. Despite these setbacks, our commitment to animal welfare remains steadfast.
We are deeply appreciative of our long-term supporters who have stood by us for over ten years. Acknowledging the current hardships, we make a heartfelt appeal for help, recognizing that such assistance is crucial for the animals relying on our care. Any contribution, no matter the size, would significantly aid our cause and allow us to continue our life-saving work.
