During a wedding, a dog attacked one of the guests who was hiding something under her dress. The wedding in the village brought everyone together: everyone came to share the joy of the newlyweds. The guests laughed, sang, raised toasts. Music was heard everywhere.

And no one noticed how a stranger in a long green dress slowly approached the cheerful crowd from the forestShe walked slowly Her face was calm but she was hiding something under the hem of her dress .

No one paid any attention to the stranger’s appearance. No one except Bayrak .

An old but faithful dog, belonging to the groom’s friendlay in the shade under the table. All morning he had followed his master closely but now he stood still, staring intently at the stranger. His ears pricked up, his tail twitched, and the fur along his spine stood up.

Bayrak sensed something was wrong. The woman was approaching. She was already a few meters away from the newlyweds .  Suddenly the dog took off .

The next moment there was an explosion. deafening roar echoed around the area . People scattered, some screamed, some fell to the ground.

The explosion thundered at a distance from the people – at the edge of the meadow, where Bayrak had pushed the stranger back .

He rushed straight towards the stranger. The guests turned around. Everyone was horrified when Bayrak began to bark at the woman, his teeth bit into the fabric of her clothes, and he threw her to the ground.

The woman,as it later turned out, was a terrorist. The explosive device hidden under her dress was ready to be activated. If she had managed to reach the crowd, there would have been casualties But she didn’t have time.

Bayrak saved dozens at the cost of his lifeHe died together with the woman .

The next day he was buried near an old oak tree on the edge of the village. Everyone came – the newlyweds, guests, neighbors. A plaque was placed on the grave with the inscription:

” Bayrak. Faithful friend. Hero.”
