The journey of a little puppy named Aqui began when a concerned girl found him abandoned on a wooden bridge.
Thankfully, Isabella came into his life, offering him a safe home and the care he so desperately needed.
Aqui’s past wasn’t without its hardships. Isabella received a message from the same girl who initially shared Aqui’s plight, revealing the heartbreaking news that his previous owner had poured boiling water over him, leaving a scar.
Despite this traumatic experience, Aqui’s health remained stable, and he was vaccinated and introduced to a shelter where he could socialize with other orphaned puppies.
Under Isabella’s nurturing care, Aqui flourished and became a beloved resident of the sanctuary. Known for his playful antics, he often engaged in light-hearted mischief with his fellow pups. Regular vet checkups and an abundance of love ensured he thrived during his stay.
On January 14th, 2023, Aqui’s story took a joyous turn as he was adopted by a family who promised to provide him with a loving and supportive home. Meanwhile, the authorities intervened at his former owner’s residence, uncovering two more adult dogs who were also in distress. As a result, the previous owner faced charges of animal cruelty and agreed not to own any more animals in the future.
