I received a call about a dog in dire need of help. The poor animal was so injured that she struggled to stand. If she managed to get up, she would only take a few steps before collapsing.
It was clear she was in a critical state, but the cause of her condition was unknown.

When we found her, she was soaking wet, as if she had been in a river. We quickly took her to the veterinarian. Her body temperature was low, around 37°C, and she was extremely dehydrated. Her body was covered in numerous wounds.
The veterinarian provided her with comforting fluids, and I made sure to keep her warm in the car with blankets and a heating pad.

Seeing her in such pain was heart-wrenching. I desperately wanted her to survive. It seemed probable she had been hit by a vehicle and subsequently thrown into the water.
I stayed by her side constantly, hoping for a miracle. We decided to name her Dara, and asked everyone to keep her in their thoughts and prayers.

Dara’s condition suggested she previously had an owner because she bore a collar mark on her neck. It was outrageous to imagine anyone could abandon a dog so loyal. Evidently, she had spent her entire life on a chain.
Encouragingly, Dara began showing small signs of improvement. She started eating a little and even drinking water, which gave us hope that we had found her just in time.

Over the days, Dara’s progress continued. Her tail started wagging, and she attempted to walk on her own, albeit gingerly.
However, medical tests revealed she had water in her lungs and around her heart, and though she was dehydrated, administering IV fluids posed a risk of overwhelming her lungs.

After enduring extensive treatment, Dara’s condition greatly improved. I gave her all the love and care she needed, along with the veterinarian’s ongoing treatment, which turned out to be exactly what she required to get better.
