Rescued Bulldogs Liberty and Justice Thrive After Kindness and Care from Police and Shelter

On a quiet road, two injured bulldogs were found huddled together. A passerby named Hennessy immediately realized the animals needed help and called the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Responsive to the distress call, two officers arrived promptly to assist the frightened pups, who whimpered softly with blood visible on the pavement.

As the officers approached, they were greeted with gentle licks from the grateful dogs, as if acknowledging the aid they were about to receive.

Upon investigation, the police discovered that one of the dogs was bleeding significantly. They quickly deduced that the injuries were likely due to a car accident.

Taking swift action, one officer applied gauze and pressure to stem the bleeding, while the other contacted Orange County Animal Services for additional assistance.

The officers stayed with the puppies to keep them warm and comforted until help could arrive, refusing to leave the vulnerable animals in their fragile state.

Animal services soon arrived, transporting the two dogs to the shelter. Thanks to the compassionate efforts of the police, the once-scared bulldogs, now named Liberty and Justice, were less fearful and settled into their new environment.

The shelter staff expressed delight in caring for the joyful pups and are optimistic about finding them a loving permanent home.
