SWEDISH ΜΟΜ ΕΜΜA SCHOLS SURVIVED 93% BURNS AFTER RESCUING ALL SIX OF HER CHILDREN FROM A HOUSE FIRE, SAYING: “IF I BIRTHED 6 KIDS, I’M GONNA GET 6 KIDS OUT.”

In September 2019, Swedish mother Emma Schols demonstrated the ultimate act of courage and devotion when a fire broke out in her home, trapping all six of her children inside.

Without a second thought, Emma raced through flames and choking smoke, moving from room to room to make sure every one of her children was safe. In the process, she suffered life-threatening burns to an astonishing 93% of her body a level of injury that very few people ever survive.

What makes Emma’s story even more extraordinary is her unbreakable spirit and the words she became known for: “If I birthed 6 kids, I’m gonna get 6 kids out.” That fierce determination fueled her strength, both in the desperate moments of the fire and through the grueling months of recovery that followed. Emma spent weeks on life support, but when she regained consciousness, her first question was for her children’s safety a true reflection of her selfless love.

Thanks to Emma’s incredible bravery, all six children escaped the blaze unharmed. Her heroism earned her the title of Lifeguard of the Year 2020 at the Swedish Heroes Gala, but for her family and for all who hear her story, she stands as a symbol of a mother’s limitless love and the power of refusing to give up no matter the odds.
