A short but powerful video is getting a lot of attention online, and it’s easy to see why. It shows a baby giraffe meeting its father for the very first time while the mom stands close by, watching everything.
The mom didn’t look away once, like she was making sure the moment was safe and special. The dad gently walked up and gave the baby a couple of kisses, not rushed or awkward, just sweet and calm.
Right after that, the mom walked up and kissed the dad. It was a small thing, but you could tell it meant a lot.
Then she turned to her baby and gave him a kiss too. That pretty much said it all, you could tell they both loved that little one.
The video came from Monroe County and it’s only 36 seconds long, but that was more than enough to get people emotional. It already has more than 70,000 views on YouTube.

Giraffes might not usually have strong social bonds, but that didn’t seem to matter here. The love between the parents and their baby was obvious.
