The A-lister’s son seemingly acknowledged his father’s romance with the Hollywood bombshell, which emerged during the rollout of their new film.
Daniel Neeson, son of actor Liam Neeson and the late Natasha Richardson, reacted — both online and on air — to his father’s new relationship with Pamela Anderson during the August 2025 promotions for “The Naked Gun.”
His first gesture came on August 1, when Pamela uploaded several images of herself and Liam on an Instagram carousel. In the black-and-white photos, the couple can be seen throwing popcorn and making silly faces at the camera. Daniel took to the comments section with, “🙌🙌🔥🔥🤍🤍🔫.”
However, an even more notable moment came two days later. The co-stars of the “The Naked Gun” remake appeared on “Watch What Happens Live” with Andy Cohen on August 3.
During a segment of the show, Andy said he wouldn’t press for details about their relationship but assured the pair that all their friends were “stanning” them together. He then turned to the audience and asked, “Right, Danny?” as the camera landed on Daniel, who could only smile while the rest of the audience chuckled.
These moments come amid reports that his father has finally stepped into his first public relationship since Natasha’s death on March 18, 2009. It’s been 16 years since. Over a year ago, Daniel uploaded a heartfelt tribute on his Instagram to honor the anniversary of his mother’s passing.
“15 years since you’ve left this plane onto forever more. I look forward to re uniting one day but for now I take solace in knowing you’re beside me every step of the way. Hopefully, I’m making you proud [sic],” he wrote, adding that she would probably approve of the way he makes margaritas, which were Natasha’s specialty.
He also noted that his mother never could have imagined he’d one day start a tequila brand. Additionally, Daniel recalled a recent conversation with his aunt, Joely Richardson, about how the world keeps spinning.
“Change is inevitable, and we must embrace it with open arms. If you’re a believer or not in quantum physics, the past, future and present coexist,” he continued. “We’re all interconnected here and over there through love. The greatest life force. choose it above all else [sic].”
Meanwhile, Daniel isn’t the only one who has reacted to the pairing. Pamela Anderson’s son, Brandon Thomas Lee, was interviewed by Access Hollywood on the red carpet at the premiere of “The Naked Gun” on July 28.
When asked if he had visited the set, Brandon said he hadn’t, but mentioned seeing an early cut of the film and being surprised by how much he laughed.
“And it was actually really cool to see both of them in their comedic element really. Like, you know, Liam’s actually got great timing. So does my mom. She does. They both do a fantastic job,” he added.
Brandon was also asked about his reaction to his mother working on this type of genre. He answered, “My first reaction was, ‘I hope he didn’t push her off the edge or anything.’ I’m always worried when I get sent the videos because I’m like watching to see if anything crazy happens, but it just looks like they’re having a great time and it’s fun to see them be, you know, good castmates.”
When the interviewer asked how he felt about fans wanting to “ship” Liam and Pamela in real life, Brandon responded, “I just think they’re such great co-stars, you know? I think that’s part of it, right? I think they have such a great on-screen chemistry that it’s really, you know, it means it’s well done.”
That same chemistry was something Liam himself had spoken about nearly a year earlier during an interview with People. They had just wrapped up filming for this remake, and the “Taken” actor couldn’t stop praising her.
“With Pamela, first off, I’m madly in love with her. She’s just terrific to work with,” Liam said back then. “I can’t compliment her enough, I’ll be honest with you. No huge ego. She just comes in to do the work. She’s funny and so easy to work with. She’s going to be terrific in the film.”
