51-Year-Old Rapper Shares Why He’s Not Into Dating Women Over 35

A rapper has sparked discussion online after revealing why he won’t date women who are around his own age, saying he considers those over 35 to be ‘damaged goods’.

Trick Daddy, who has over two million monthly listeners on Spotify, opened up about his dating preferences on an episode of ‘The Nene Leakes Show’, where he shared why he avoids dating women who are closer to his own age.

The 51-year-old, whose real name is Maurice Samuel Young, sat down with host Nene Leakes—best known as one of the original stars from The Real Housewives of Atlanta—and during their candid chat, he ended up revealing more than some might have expected about his dating life.

When Nene asked if he was currently seeing anyone, Trick Daddy replied that he’s ‘wide open’, and that led to a conversation where he described dating several women at once.

“You can’t have sex with all these women, you gonna get a bacteria…” the 57-year-old host said, before Trick Daddy jumped in with his own response.

Trick Daddy explained how women over 35 are ‘damaged goods’ to him while appearing as a guest on Nene Leakes’ podcastYouTube/NeneLeakes
“I don’t have sex with all of them,” he responded.

“I’m a pleaser. I’ve even ate a woman’s p*ssy that I didn’t try to have sex with. I’m a pleaser, I’m a September Libra.”

He added more to his opinion by saying: “With the exception of maybe you and one or two other women, I’m not attracted to no women over 35 years old.”

“Y’all standards are too high, y’all are too emotional, y’all are damaged goods from last past relationship.”

When Nene Leakes pushed back and said she didn’t agree with that label, insisting she wasn’t damaged, Trick Daddy replied that she didn’t even realize she was.

Nene was previously married to TV personality Gregg Leakes until he sadly passed away in 2021. Gregg had been diagnosed with colon cancer three years earlier and eventually died from the illness in September that year.

While she shared her experience of marriage with Trick Daddy—explaining she was widowed but had genuinely enjoyed being a wife—he responded by telling her that he knows how to treat a woman like a wife. He then turned up the charm as he flirted with her during their conversation.

He continued with: “Yeah, I’m a real – I’m a real man. I have no pride, no shame – I’m I’m the CEO, president of ‘eaty-booty gang’. I like my nipples suck[ed].”

When Nene replied that she wouldn’t do something like that, Trick Daddy fired back with: “You don’t have to, there’s somebody to do it – see, that’s the problem with older women. See, y’all have standards and guidelines. Y’all need to lower your standards and open up your guidelines.”

And that wasn’t the only bold statement he made during the interview. Trick Daddy also repeated his controversial opinion that Beyoncé “can’t sing” and insisted that she “isn’t a vocalist.”
