Mother Rushes To Emergency Room To Deliver Triplets: Then Nurses Look Closer At Their Faces And

Becki Allen from Liverpool was stunned when doctors told her she was expecting identical triplets—a 1-in-200-million occurrence. Already a mom to a daughter named Indiana, Becki had only prepared for one new baby, not three. The triplets—Roman, Rocco, and Rohan—were delivered by C-section at 31 weeks, each weighing 3–5 pounds. After a month in intensive care, they came home healthy.

Though doctors initially said the boys weren’t identical, DNA tests confirmed they were. Becki and her family quickly adapted to the chaos of raising three newborns, going through around 150 diapers and $100 a week in supplies.

Despite the challenges, she says the boys have distinct personalities—and Indiana proudly helps with her little brothers. “It was the biggest shock of my life,” Becki said, “but we’re a lucky and happy family.”
