A guy on YouTube showed how he made his rake way more useful using just a pool noodle. It looked simple but actually worked pretty well. He took a noodle and measured it across the head of the rake.
Then he cut it straight down one side so it could slide right onto the top.
To keep it in place, he added three zip ties. One on each end and one in the middle. That thing didn’t move at all once it was on. But here’s the part that surprised people. That soft edge turns the rake into a squeegee.
He pushed water right off the driveway like it was made for it.
It’s one of those things where you think, yeah, I should’ve thought of that. Took five minutes, cost almost nothing, and now he’s got a tool that does two jobs.
