Madelynn May, 23, was left heartbroken when her father Patrick passed away last year at just 57 years old after a short illness.
Since then, Madelynn, who works in the adult industry, explained that she has found comfort in taking his ashes with her everywhere — from road trips across the country to explicit content shoots.
Madelynn acknowledged that some people find it unusual or even unsettling that she brings her father’s urn to her more risqué photoshoots. Still, she insists she genuinely loves having him close by, emphasizing that he had always been her greatest supporter.
Patrick tragically passed away on December 18 of last year after a short battle with cancer, leaving his daughter to find new ways to carry him with her through life’s biggest moments.
“It’s been really hard, he was my best friend – we were with each other all the time,” Madelynn admitted. “We would do TikToks together, and I’d be like, ‘Hey, Dad, do you support me?’ And he’d be like, ‘Yeah, I support all your work, I watched all your TikToks, I’m so proud of them, I love them, you’re the best TikToker in America’.”
Today, Madelynn maintains a busy work schedule that takes her away from home for weeks at a time. She said leaving her father’s urn behind felt wrong, which is why she keeps him with her constantly.
“Dad and I made our last TikTok together on December 8,” she recalled. “Ten days later, he was gone. I’m glad that I have the videos of us to rewatch whenever I miss him and that the whole world gets to enjoy his sparkle.”
“It just feels weird and rude to leave him – so I don’t. I get to have my dad with me, and he gets to spend his days surrounded by sexy adult models – I think he’d love it.”
