Ella Langley Returns to Social Media After Stepping Away for Health Break
Ella Langley is back online after taking a short hiatus from performing to prioritize her health. The rising country star shared her first post since announcing in August that she was canceling the rest of her shows for the month.
In the heartfelt update, Langley expressed her gratitude to those who stood by her during her time away. “Couldn’t be anymore grateful to have had some time to slow down and see all of the amazing things happening in my life,” she wrote. “Also, I have the best family and friends a girl could ask for. Truly. Thank yall for allowing me this time too and all of the messages that were sent in love and support. Time to get back to it.”
Alongside her message, the Alabama native shared glimpses of her downtime — including horseback rides, cooking, reading scripture, and cozy moments with her dogs.
A Difficult but Necessary Pause
Back on August 11, Langley had posted a candid note explaining her decision to cancel her August shows after weeks of battling illness and exhaustion.
“The past several weeks have been tough. I’ve been fighting sickness and feeling more run down than ever,” she admitted. “I’ve made the hard decision to take a couple weeks off to rest and focus on my health – Mind, body and heart. I want to be fully present for all the moments ahead, and I know I can’t do that without first taking care of myself.”
She reminded fans that sometimes stepping back is the only way forward: “Sometimes we have to listen when our bodies and hearts are telling us to slow down. I’m so grateful for your understanding and your love – It truly means the world to me.” She closed the post with Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Ready for the Road Again
Now rested and recharged, Langley will relaunch her tour on September 7 in Madison, IL. She’ll then join Morgan Wallen for back-to-back shows in Edmonton, Canada, before returning to her own headlining run through the fall. Highlights include stops in Houston, Athens, and two sold-out nights at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium.
For fans, Langley’s return marks not just the continuation of her tour, but a reminder that even rising stars need time to pause, heal, and come back stronger.
