Keith Urban is spreading some meaningful holiday cheer in Nashville.

This Christmas season, the country superstar paid a special visit to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt, a leading pediatric hospital that serves children and families from across Tennessee and the surrounding region as part of Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Known nationally for excellence in 10 pediatric specialties and home to a top-level NICU, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital frequently welcomes country artists who want to lift the spirits of young patients—and Urban’s visit did exactly that.

Stopping by Seacrest Studios inside the hospital, Urban spent time meeting patients and their families, hosting a relaxed acoustic sing-along, answering questions, snapping photos, and sharing plenty of smiles. He also donated guitars to support the hospital’s music therapy program.

Dr. Meg Rush, president of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital, expressed heartfelt gratitude for the visit, noting that Urban has supported the hospital on multiple occasions over the years.

“Keith has been a wonderful friend to our hospital,” she shared, adding that the staff is deeply appreciative of his continued generosity.

The donated guitars will help enhance the hospital’s music therapy efforts, which focus on easing anxiety, managing pain, supporting emotional well-being, and helping children and families cope during difficult times.

Once again, Keith Urban proved that sometimes the most powerful gifts aren’t wrapped—they’re felt.
