In the city of Anápolis, located about 55 kilometers from Goiânia, a two-month-old baby died after accidentally falling from his father’s arms. What should have been a moment of comfort between parent and child instead became a devastating accident now under investigation by authorities.
According to initial reports, the incident occurred in the early hours of Monday morning in the Jardim das Américas 2ª Etapa neighborhood. The father told police that he was exhausted and had been holding his infant son while trying to calm him. At some point, overcome by fatigue, he fell asleep. In those brief, unconscious moments, the baby slipped from his arms and fell.
