Langley released her first album, Hungover, in August 2024. The album featured the massive hit You Look Like You Love Me with Riley Green and debuted at No. 77 on the Billboard 200, while also landing at No. 11 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Alongside a video announcing the new record, the Alabama native shared her excitement with fans, writing:

“So excited to finally announce that my sophomore album Dandelion will be out April 10th & the title track is yours this Friday! Welcome to Dandelionland 💛”

The upcoming album will feature 18 tracks in total. Fans won’t have to wait long for a preview — the title song, “Dandelion,” is set to drop across all streaming platforms this Friday, January 30. Langley, now 26, explained the deeper meaning behind the album’s name.

“Dandelions are survivors,” she said. “They grow in the toughest conditions. People often see them as weeds, but they actually represent hope, healing, and resilience.”

Fans can also watch Langley discuss the album and get a behind-the-scenes look at the cover shoot in a newly released video.

Miranda Lambert Joins as Co-Producer

Adding even more excitement to the project, Miranda Lambert will serve as a co-producer on Dandelion, working alongside Langley and producer Ben West.

Lambert shared her enthusiasm for the collaboration in a heartfelt message:

“Thank you Ella for ‘Choosin Texas’ (🙋‍♀️😘) to help you produce this incredible record. It’s been an honor working with you and Ben. I treasure our friendship, sister. You are a Dandelion, and I can’t wait for the world to hear this ❤️”

The two artists recently teamed up on Choosin’ Texas, released on October 7, 2025. The single debuted at No. 37 on the Billboard Hot 100 and climbed to No. 1 on the U.S. Hot Country Songs chart by December 2 — marking Langley’s first solo career chart-topper.

The track also made history as the fastest-rising song by a solo female artist at U.S. country radio this decade, breaking into the Top 10 in just eight weeks.

Fans Are Already Counting Down

It didn’t take long for fans to flood Langley’s comments with excitement after the announcement.

“Got me fired up on a dang Tuesday.”

“April can’t come soon enough!! ✨💛”

“BEST NEWS EVER.”
