East Wichita welcomes new therapy center for children with autism

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) – A new therapy center for children is now open in east Wichita.

Limitless ABA serves children, ages two through ten, that have been diagnosed with autism.

ABA stands for Applied Behavior Analysis, which helps work on managing social skills, impulse control skills, play skills and challenging behaviors. Limitless ABA said timely access to autism support is a challenge for many families, and the new center will help provide a local option.

“There aren’t many center-based options, especially for full-time kiddos, and we’re able to provide those. We are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.,” said Samantha Osgood with Limitless ABA. “With that level of therapy, kids are able to make faster progress, and there’s more learning opportunities throughout the day to help them during meal times, play times, bathroom times, that kind of thing.”

The organization says the skills they work on at the therapy center helps with challenging behaviors that arise at home.

The new Wichita location is located at 8110 E 32nd St. N, near Rock Road and K-96.

Limitless ABA accepts many major insurance carriers and opened their first location in Overland Park back in 2021. The Wichita center will be the fourth location of Limitless ABA. The two other locations are in Bonner Springs and Leavenworth.
