Eminem just paid his subtle respects to late mom, Debbie Nelson.
The award-winning, iconic rapper has remained estranged from his mother for mainly his entire life, that resulted in him writing and rapping some rather intense and harsh lyrics against her.
During his performance at the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix, the 52-year-old artist, while performing his hit track, Without Me, that he wrote in 2002, at the age of 23, Eminem decided to not perform the infamous lyrics, “F*** you, Debbie.”
The Mockingbird hitmaker’s mother tragically passed away last week due to complications with advanced lung cancer.
Eminem has yet to release some official statement regarding the sentiments he feels over the passing of his mother, with whom he has mostly had a rather strained relationship.
It can be seen in multiple of his tracks that the 15-time Grammy award winner has used different lyrics to express the emotions he has felt towards Debbie, that also resulted in his mother filing a defamation case against Eminem, seeking 10 million dollars in compensation causing an even bigger rift.
