Johnny Depp’s son Jack, who he shares with ex Vanessa Paradis, has been working at a bar in Paris – far away from the Hollywood spotlight

Despite being the offspring of Hollywood royalty, Johnny Depp’s son, Jack Depp, 22, has shunned the limelight for a more low-key career path. Reports have surfaced that he’s been earning his keep as a bartender at a local Parisian bar.
The young Depp, whose mother is singer Vanessa Paradis, has chosen a different direction than his sister Lily-Rose, preferring to stay out of the public eye. Jack was employed at the renowned Lebanese restaurant L’Area, located in the trendy Bastille district of Paris, France — known for attracting the music and fashion crowd, with celebrities like Matt Damon and Matt Dillon among its patrons.
A recent review praised the establishment: “Excellent! Always a warm welcome and delicious experience at this cosy restaurant. Good food and a wonderful host.”
MailOnline notes that Jack worked both behind the bar and in the kitchen preparing mezze. Social media posts from the restaurant showcased Jack at work, and there are even snaps of Lily-Rose mixing drinks.
After two years at L’Area, Jack left a few months back, but the owner Edouard Chueke seems to anticipate his return next year, reports the Mirror.

Edouard, a business owner, spoke to the media outlet about Jack, saying: “Jack is a great guy; he keeps out of the limelight, but worked here behind the bar and in the kitchen. He was a good employee, he left a few months ago but I expect him back later next year. Good staff are hard to find. I’ve been running this place for 15 years and it’s very popular with the fashion and music crowd, but also film stars come here, and Jack’s mum Vanessa Paradis and sister are regulars.”
He also mentioned that: “Lily was mixing caipirinhas behind the bar and really getting into the swing of it, she was enjoying herself.”
Vanessa and Johnny have always been protective about their children’s exposure to fame. Vanessa commented in 2007 during an interview with a Belgian publication: “Now I indeed keep them away from the cameras because I don’t want our children to be forced to share in our fame against their will. They didn’t ask for that. Not yet. The day that they will decide for themselves to do things that might bring them into the spotlights, then I won’t stop.”
