She’s like, “Hey, hey, hey, Diddy is bad, but just wait until the stuff about Jay-Z comes out. I’m telling you right now, it’s not just Diddy. Jay-Z is a horrible person who needs to go away forever for the things he has done, and I fully support that. I just want to make sure we’re not jumping to conclusions. People have been tried in the court of public opinion before they were proven guilty or innocent.
Diddy is a bad example—maybe Jay-Z will turn out to be a bad example too. Maybe he really is guilty. Obviously, for the sake of the victims, I hope he’s not a terrible person. For the sake of his children having a good role model, I hope he is innocent. He’s a smart and intelligent guy, and getting to where he is today took more than just talent—it took an extraordinary level of intelligence. Honestly, I admire rags-to-riches stories; I think they are the best. That’s why it pains me to see situations like this unfold.
Even with Diddy, it was a similar situation. Diddy was put on by others, while Jay-Z made his own way. Diddy had no real talent or background. If you’ve ever heard him talk, it’s clear he isn’t the smartest. I always found it interesting how he was considered one of hip-hop’s billionaires, yet I can’t name a single Diddy song. I always joke with my friends—”Can you name one Diddy song? No, you can’t.”
Diddy started as an intern for Clive Davis, the legendary talent scout and record executive, and was later set up with Bad Boy Records. His first major signing? Notorious B.I.G. Honestly, B.I.G. was destined to be a superstar with or without Diddy. Even Suge Knight took a shot at Diddy at an award show in the mid-’90s, saying, “If you want a producer who’s not all up in your videos, all up in your business…” Everyone knew Diddy was just a cultural networker rather than a true talent.
But let’s get back to Jay-Z. I’ve heard similar things from people I deeply respect—high-level individuals who have worked with him. They say, “That guy doesn’t mess around. He listens more than he talks, and he makes decisions.” His business ventures have been just as impressive as his music career.
As the rumors and allegations grow, people are not just wondering if he was involved—they’re wondering what he did. The only person who had openly spoken against Jay-Z before all of this was Jaguar Wright, a backup singer for him in the early 2000s. She was also one of the first to publicly call out Diddy back in 2022. At the time, people dismissed her, calling her crazy. But now, many are reconsidering, realizing she might have been right all along.
Jaguar Wright has done multiple interviews where, whenever Diddy is mentioned, she quickly shifts the focus to Jay-Z, saying, “Diddy is bad, but just wait until you hear about Jay-Z.” She claims he is just as bad, if not worse. She has even described Diddy and Jay-Z as “peanut butter and jelly”—inseparable.
In an interview with Piers Morgan, she compared Jay-Z to Harvey Weinstein and claimed that he had deep connections to other notorious figures in the industry. That interview was taken down after Jay-Z’s legal team, led by Alex Spiro, sent a cease-and-desist letter. However, the very next day, Jaguar Wright doubled down, repeating all of her accusations in another interview.
The problem with Jaguar Wright, though, is that she’s not the most credible source. She has a history of making false accusations, including one against Common for sexual assault, and has had erratic public incidents—like throwing ashes on people during an Instagram livestream. While mental illness shouldn’t be dismissed, it’s important to consider the credibility of accusations.
That being said, even a broken clock is right twice a day. Just because she has a troubled past doesn’t mean everything she says is false.
When it comes to Diddy, some of her claims have already been proven true. I personally know someone who, back in 2017—long before any of this became public—warned me about Diddy. He told me, “If you ever get invited to Diddy’s house, you don’t go.” At the time, I thought he just meant Diddy was a shady character. But when the recent allegations surfaced, I sent him a text saying, “It all makes sense now.”
For years, whispers about Diddy had been circulating. The fact that it took 30 years for the truth to come out is mind-blowing. The only way he could have gotten away with it for so long is if he had powerful people protecting him.
And now, similar rumors are starting to surface about Jay-Z. The question is—how long before the truth about him comes to light?
