Pop star Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau were spotted having dinner together in Montreal. They were caught on camera and said Trudeau paid for the meal, which included lobster, tuna, and lamb.
Earlier that day, they were seen walking through Mount Royal Park for about 90 minutes. After that, they went to the Ritz-Carlton where Perry dropped off her dog.
Both Perry and Trudeau are believed to be recently single. There were no signs of romantic behavior during the outing and it all seemed friendly. They also went into the kitchen to thank the restaurant staff.
Perry’s reps confirmed she and Orlando Bloom split up on July 3. They had been together for about nine years. She’s currently on her Lifetimes Tour and has a show in Ottawa on Tuesday, followed by Madison Square Garden on August 11.
Trudeau, who is 53, divorced Sophie Grégoire Trudeau in August 2023 after 18 years of marriage. He stepped down from his position as Prime Minister in March after nearly a decade in office.
