There is talk in royal circles about Kate Middleton possibly having a fourth child. However, it turns out that the conversation is not about a new addition to Kate and William’s family, but rather about Prince William himself. Insiders suggest that Kate often has to handle her husband’s “tantrums,” treating him as though he were her “fourth child.”
Royal author Tom Quinn explained that William sometimes has small outbursts or gets irritated when things don’t go as he wants. He also mentioned that 43-year-old Kate is very skilled at managing her 42-year-old husband, much like she does with their three children: 11-year-old Prince George, 9-year-old Princess Charlotte, and 6-year-old Prince Louis. Quinn even shared that there is a joke among the royal staff that Prince William is like Kate’s fourth child due to his occasional childlike behavior. Royal staff members have also commented that they aren’t sure where William would be without Kate, noting her ability to calm him down when he’s being difficult.
Additionally, a former royal aide told Quinn that both William and his father, King Charles III, are “quick to get irritated” because they are used to having things done for them and can be “very particular.”
