Two teenage boys from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, are being called heroes after saving a young girl from a kidnapping. Five-year-old Jocelyn Rojas was playing in her front yard when a man allegedly lured her into his car by offering ice cream. While police and neighbors searched, two local teens decided to act.
Fifteen-year-old Temar Boggs and his friend hopped on their bikes and rode through the neighborhood. About half a mile away, they spotted the car with Jocelyn inside. The driver tried to escape when he saw the boys following, but they didn’t give up. For nearly 15 minutes, they chased the car, pedaling as fast as they could. Eventually, the driver stopped at the bottom of a hill, let Jocelyn out, and she ran straight to Temar, saying she wanted to go home to her mom.
The community praised the boys for their bravery and quick thinking. Jocelyn’s grandmother said Temar’s actions saved the little girl and showed true courage. Family and neighbors celebrated the teens for stepping in and protecting a child when it mattered most.
