The Robinson family, consisting of a 6-year-old son, decided to move to a larger home in a secluded area after the wife became pregnant with their second child. They wanted to establish a farm, and after living in a small rented apartment where pets were not allowed, they were eager to adopt a dog now that they had their own space.
They visited several shelters in hopes of finding a dog to adopt. While listening to the heartbreaking stories of the animals, they came across a timid Pit Bull named Benson.

Benson had endured a tough life; he had been used for dog fighting for years before being abandoned on the streets. When volunteers rescued him, he had lost all trust in people and was too scared to even lift his head. After spending some time at the shelter, he was adopted by a family, but his joy was short-lived as they returned him just two weeks later, claiming he wasn’t friendly.

Mrs. Robinson felt compelled to give Benson a chance at a better life, so they adopted him. Although he initially behaved oddly, he quickly bonded with their son, Mathias.
