At just five years old, Luna Fenner underwent a remarkable plastic surgery on June 20 in a different country.

Nicknamed the “Batman Mask” due to a facial birthmark, Luna had undergone several procedures to remove it, though some scars remained.

Her mother, Carol Fenner, faced numerous challenges with visas but ultimately succeeded in securing this crucial surgery. Before the operation, Carol shared a heartfelt message on social media:

“Tomorrow is a big day—Luna’s first cosmetic surgery. We hope to correct her eyelids, which appear open while she sleeps, and improve her skin’s mobility. Luna is ready and excited. Please pray for us.”

Carol also expressed gratitude to Dr. Olga, the surgeon, and hoped for a successful outcome.

The five-hour procedure concluded successfully. Dr. Olga announced they had removed both the birthmark and the scar, along with performing an additional eyelid surgery.

She wished for Luna’s happiness, and the parents were thrilled with the results.

The next morning, Carol shared a video of Luna joyfully dancing with a bandage on her face, updating that Luna was doing well 12 hours post-op. She would remain in the hospital for three more days.

Luna’s first surgery took place when she was just six months old. Her parents opted for treatment abroad as American doctors had recommended multiple surgeries, costing much more—$200,000 less abroad.

Thanks to the surgery, Luna can now live her life more confidently and happily.
