Angelina Jolie exuded effortless style on Monday as she stepped out in New York City with her children — son Pax and daughters Zahara and Shiloh.
The 48-year-old actress and humanitarian turned heads as she exited an SUV, dressed in a chic tan double-breasted trench coat, casually buttoned.
Pax, 19, carried a professional-looking camera equipped with a telephoto lens, suggesting he was ready to capture moments from their outing.
The family day came in the midst of Jolie’s ongoing legal battle with ex-husband Brad Pitt regarding custody issues and the sale of her share in their French winery, Château Miraval, to a Russian oligarch — a move that has intensified their dispute.
However, Jolie appeared carefree during the outing, showing no signs of the behind-the-scenes tension. She added elegance to her trench with a sleek black dress underneath and completed the look with classic black heels that complemented her 5ft 7in frame, revealing her toned legs thanks to the coat’s shorter cut.
The Tomb Raider star carried a large beige tote and wore oversized black sunglasses. She continued to flaunt her recently dyed blonde hair, reminiscent of her look from the 1990s and her Oscar-winning role in Girl, Interrupted.
Pax opted for a laid-back ensemble with a white long-sleeve graphic shirt, black jeans, yellow sneakers, and a flat-billed black cap. Shiloh, 17, wore a hoodie with matching pants and maroon sneakers, while Zahara, 18, dressed in a black dress and jacket.
The family outing took place amid Jolie and Pitt’s protracted divorce proceedings following their 2016 separation. The couple, who share six children — Maddox, 21; Pax, Zahara, Shiloh; and 14-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne — remain embroiled in legal issues, particularly over the Miraval estate.
A Vanity Fair report revealed that Pitt and Jolie nearly reached an agreement in 2021 for him to buy her stake in the winery, but negotiations reportedly fell apart when Pitt allegedly included a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) to prevent Jolie from speaking publicly about a 2016 altercation on a private jet. Pitt’s team, however, claims it was Jolie who first introduced the idea of an NDA, and that she walked away once Pitt began negotiating its terms.
