There were no preconceived thoughts about what it would be like for Carolina and her husband, Thiago Tavares, to become parents when they moved to Florida. As soon as their daughter, Luna Tavares-Fenner, entered their life and brought love into their family, they were overcome with joy and greeted her with a loving hug.

Luna came into the world with a striking birthmark, a black patch that beautifully graced a considerable amount of her innocent face. This birthmark was reminiscent of the classic mask that Batman wore. Her beautiful eyes, nose, cheeks, and forehead were all adorned with this amazing mark.

An inconsiderate mother made nasty statements about her adored daughter, brutally characterizing her as a “monster.” Carolina clearly remembers this traumatic occurrence, which occurred when the woman made these remarks. After hearing such statements, Carolina was left feeling extremely wounded and unhappy. These words caused deep wounds to be inflicted upon her. Without a question, Luna’s future is decorated with a dazzling radiance and endless potential, all of which is a direct result of her parents’ unshakable commitment and limitless love for her. It is difficult to not imagine a future for Luna that is filled to the brim with love, joy, and incredible achievements.
