Beaumont police seek help locating missing 14-year-old boy with autism

The Beaumont Police Department seeks public assistance to locate 14-year-old Taiden Armstrong, a missing boy with autism last seen at home on Tuesday.

BEAUMONT, Texas —  The Beaumont Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a critically missing 14-year-old boy with autism.

Police said officers were dispatched at about 7:51 p.m. Tuesday to the 3900 block of North Major Drive after receiving a report of a missing child.

The child was identified as Taiden Armstrong, a 14-year-old Black male who was last seen inside his residence around 4 p.m. Investigators believe Taiden may have wandered away from the home.

Police described Taiden as 5 feet, 9 inches tall and about 150 pounds with brown eyes, braided hair and glasses. He was last seen wearing a pink jacket and blue jeans.
