Ella Langley Surprises Fans With First Live Performance of New Track “Loving Life Again”!

Ella Langley Surprises Fans With Ernest Duet At The Ryman

It’s been a star-studded stretch at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium. Less than a day after Ernest wrapped up his two-night run featuring surprise guests like Dierks Bentley, Jamey Johnson, Dean Dillon, and David Lee Murphy, rising star Ella Langley took the same stage for the first of her own back-to-back shows—and she brought her own surprises.

Early Highlights

Langley opened her set with fan favorites such as “Country Boy’s Dream Girl,” “Girl You’re Taking Home,” and “Nicotine.” She also performed her new single “Choosin’ Texas,” co-written with Miranda Lambert, which recently debuted at #7 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart.

Ernest Joins For A New Duet

Midway through her set, the Alabama native stunned the audience by welcoming Ernest back to the Ryman stage—just one night after his own shows—to debut a brand-new collaboration titled “Loving Life Again.”

As Ernest walked out, greeted by thunderous applause, he quipped, “I’ve seen this before,” to which Langley laughed, “You were just here.”

Before performing the song, Langley told fans it would be featured on her upcoming album, set for release next year.

“I’ve never played this one live,” she said. “We wrote it together and have only sung it a couple of times since. So we’re gonna test it out tonight for y’all.”

A Song About Renewal

“Loving Life Again” captures a journey of self-healing and rediscovery after heartbreak. In the opening verse, Langley reflects on making mistakes and getting lost in her own thoughts, before finding comfort in simple memories of home and the Alabama pines.

The chorus paints a picture of rediscovering peace and joy:

“And just like that I’m back to loving life again
Dreaming dreams about back home, riding on the wind…”

It’s a song about grounding yourself after chaos — and finding hope in familiar places.

A Triumphant Return

2025 has been an emotional roller coaster for Langley. After taking a break in September due to health issues, she returned stronger than ever, recently earning six CMA Award nominations, including Female Artist of the Year.

While she didn’t announce a release date for “Loving Life Again,” fans can expect it to appear on her upcoming record alongside recent singles “Never Met Anyone Like You” (with HARDY), “Choosin’ Texas,” and her teased track “I Gotta Quit.”

Langley’s Ryman show proved not only her resilience but also her rising star power—cementing her as one of country music’s most exciting new voices.
