Lauren Alaina Brings Baby Beni on Tour and Finds New Purpose in Motherhood

Country star Lauren Alaina is embracing her newest role — motherhood — while continuing her busy career on the road. The Road Less Traveled singer welcomed her first child, daughter Beni Doll Arnold, in June 2025, and just a few months later, she’s already bringing her baby along on tour.

Life on the Road Looks a Little Different

In a new interview with Country Now, Alaina admitted that touring as a mom has been an adjustment — but one she’s fully embracing.

“It is definitely different taking a baby along,” she said. “We traded beer bottles and wine glasses for baby bottles and shakers for her, but I wouldn’t change anything about it.”

Alaina shared that her family tour bus now includes not only Beni but also her dogs — and everyone’s adapting surprisingly well.

“We just went out for our first trip where I took the pups and the baby, and it was actually really great. Everybody was happy. They do really well on the bus, and Beni has slept like a champ too. Thank you, Jesus.”

HARDY’s Special Gift and Parenting Advice

Fellow country artist HARDY and his wife, Caleigh, helped Alaina prepare for the challenge of touring with a baby. They passed along their daughter Rosie Ryan’s bassinet once she outgrew it — a hand-me-down that Alaina says was a lifesaver.

“They took it off their bus and gave it to us,” she revealed. “It was so awesome to have them in my corner because I had no idea how to take a baby on the bus, and they told me all the things to do. Caleigh was wonderful.”

Full Circle: Touring with Her Mom Again

Joining Alaina and baby Beni on the road is Alaina’s mother, making the experience even more special. The singer reflected on how things have come full circle since her early American Idol days.

“When I started doing this, I was 16, so my mom went on the road with me,” she said. “It’s kind of amazing to have my mom back out there. I’m like a little kid and I have a baby. It’s just so sweet — but definitely an adjustment.”

Back on the Road with Rascal Flatts

The 30-year-old Georgia native will rejoin Rascal Flatts on their Life Is a Highway Tour next year. She previously toured with the group earlier in 2025 while pregnant, forming a close friendship with frontman Gary LeVox.

“We became best buds on that tour. He’s hysterical — I had no idea! I’m really looking forward to going back out with them.”

A New Perspective on Success

Between tours, Alaina is also working on her next album. She explained that motherhood has completely shifted her outlook on her career — and given her a deeper sense of purpose.

“The way I see my career and success has drastically changed,” she said. “Becoming a mother has changed everything about how I see my future. I want to show my daughter that you can be a mom and still follow your dreams.”

While Alaina still plans to work just as hard, she feels less pressure and more peace than ever before.

“She is my purpose now,” she said. “That actually frees me up to do better, because I have a little less anxiety about it all.”
