Ella Langley Finds Joy in the Little Things
Ella Langley is reminding fans that happiness doesn’t always come from big moments — sometimes, it’s found in the smallest of pleasures. In a recent “day in the life” video, the “Choosin’ Texas” singer shared that one of her favorite ways to lift her spirits is with a little retail therapy — at Ulta.
A Simple Joy: Makeup and Mindfulness
Langley admitted that when she’s having a “depressive day,” a trip to Ulta is her go-to pick-me-up. Once inside, she happily danced down the aisles, testing out glitter eyeliner, eyeshadows, and stocking up on her favorite beauty products.
“This is one of my joys in life,” she said with a laugh. “I don’t know. I like doing makeup, bro. What am I working my ass off for, making all this sh** if you can’t use a little bit of it?”
For Langley, it’s not about the spending — it’s about self-care and celebrating the fruits of her hard work.
“You Can’t Take It With You”
Despite her love of shopping, Langley made sure to remind fans that material things aren’t what truly matter.
“You can’t take it with you,” she said. “You know what you can take with you? People. That’s the only thing you can take with you to heaven when you go.”
Life on the Road
Her “day in the life” clip offered an intimate look into her touring routine. It began with Langley waking up at 10 a.m. alongside her dog, Crue, before heading to her bus’s living area to chat with her photographer, Caylee.
“Well, the first thing I do is come out here and annoy Caylee,” she joked. “Can I see the pictures? Oh wait—they’re on my phone already. She stayed up until 3 a.m. making them with her two hands.”
After feeding Crue (“He knows how to get my attention when I forget!” she teased), Langley slipped into a comfy sweatsuit, grabbed food — and of course, a sweet tea — before heading out for her Ulta run.

On Tour and Beyond
Langley is wrapping up her SOLD-OUT Still Hungover Tour, with two final shows at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium on November 6 and 7.
She won’t be slowing down, though — early next year, she’ll hit the road again with Eric Church on his Free The Machine Tour and join Morgan Wallen for select dates.
Through it all, Langley’s charm remains her authenticity — a reminder that even in a whirlwind of fame and touring, joy often lives in the quiet, everyday moments… and sometimes, in the makeup aisle.
