Man Issues Warning After Putting Camera In Dishwasher To See What Happens Inside And Uncovering Disturbing Truth

A man’s recent discovery has pushed him to warn others after he decided to film what actually happens inside his dishwasher. His experiment began with simple curiosity and ended with a result that caught a lot of attention online.

Many people have wondered what goes on during a full wash cycle but never bothered to look further. He, however, decided he needed answers and took the extra step to see the process up close.

To do that, he placed a camera inside the machine and ran it through a normal cycle. The results left him with plenty to think about, and he didn’t hesitate to share what he found.

The YouTube channel povsadventures had previously shown a similar experiment by placing a small light and a camera inside the dishwasher while loading it as usual. That first attempt already shocked plenty of viewers.

When the footage went viral, people filled the comment section with mixed reactions. Some were fascinated, while others said they wished they had never seen it at all.

Now the creator has repeated the experiment, but this time it ended with him offering a warning to anyone who relies on their dishwasher daily.

The view really wasn’t what people were expectingpovsadventures/YouTube
In his earlier video, the dishwasher managed to clean a stack of dirty plates, but there was something unpleasant hiding in the process.

Viewers noticed that brown water was being sprayed across the dishes before settling at the bottom. The unexpected color caught the narrator’s attention and raised concerns about what was happening inside the machine.

The narrator explained the idea behind testing the dishwasher: “I put a camera in a dishwasher a few months back, and tens of thousands of people commented with concern of the not-so-clear water color.”

One user joked in the comments of that video: “Bro got the dishwasher hooked up to his septic tank.”

Another viewer shared their own reaction, saying: “Thank you for helping me see reasons why hand washing is best.”

A third person added: “I am glad I was not the only one who was shocked by the brown water… thank you for sharing anyway.”

Someone else chimed in with their concern and said: “After seeing it from the inside, I’m concerned about whether the dishes are actually getting cleaned.”

The brown water seen in the first experiment even convinced some viewers to swear off their dishwashers entirely, at least according to the comments.

This reaction pushed him to investigate more closely and find out what caused the water to look so muddy and unappealing.

Armed with more cameras and using just one plate decorated with a ketchup smiley face, he filmed another full cycle to see exactly what was happening.

For roughly the first twenty minutes, he admitted he felt completely discouraged. The plate was being washed over and over with the same murky brown water, which made the situation look even worse than before.

Based on what he saw, he concluded the dishwasher was recycling the same water to stay eco-friendly. It wasn’t until the final few minutes of the cycle that the water finally turned clear again.

Since he believes his dishwasher reuses the first batch of water that sprays off the dirty dishes, he warned viewers that it could mean the dishes are being washed with water filled with leftover food particles. Because of this, he recommended rinsing dishes before placing them inside the machine.

Doing that, he explained, could help keep the water cleaner throughout the cycle and make the machine run more effectively.
