A popular reality television personality is facing a significant legal setback after a court ruling limited her access to her young child amid ongoing concerns about her behavior.
Taylor Frankie Paul, known for her role on The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, was ordered by a Utah court to have only supervised visitation with her 2-year-old son following a recent custody hearing.
The judge ruled that Paul may see her child for a limited number of hours per week under supervision, citing concerns about her “volatile” behavior and past incidents involving domestic disputes.
The decision comes after a series of legal filings and allegations between Paul and her ex-partner, Dakota Mortensen, with both sides accusing each other of abusive behavior.

A key factor in the court’s decision was a previously surfaced video from 2023 that reportedly showed Paul engaging in a physical altercation with Mortensen in front of her child. The incident had already led to legal consequences in the past and continues to influence the current custody case.
Mortensen was granted temporary custody of their son, while the court emphasized that the arrangement is temporary and subject to review at a follow-up hearing scheduled later in April.
The case has drawn widespread attention, not only because of Paul’s reality TV fame but also due to the serious nature of the allegations and the involvement of child welfare concerns.
The ongoing legal battle has also impacted her career, with reports indicating production delays and fallout tied to the controversy.
Authorities and the court have stated that further decisions will depend on the outcome of upcoming hearings and continued investigation into the allegations from both parties.
