It looks like Brianna LaPaglia, better known as Brianna Chickenfry, is finally ready to turn the page after her 2024 breakup with Zach Bryan.

Bryan has clearly moved on, recently marrying Samantha Leonard in Spain over New Year’s after months of speculation. Their relationship became public in mid-2025, and fans began suspecting marriage when Bryan briefly posted — and then deleted — a paragliding video that appeared to show a wedding band on his finger.

For Brianna, the aftermath has been far more complicated. She has previously spoken about what she describes as emotional abuse during her relationship with Bryan, saying the experience deeply affected her sense of safety and trust.

On a recent episode of her Plan Bri podcast, Brianna opened up about her goals for 2026, including healing her relationship with intimacy. She admitted that trauma from her last relationship left her fearful of sex and worried about losing control or autonomy by becoming physically close to someone again.

She explained that over the past year, this fear has defined much of her life, keeping her from pursuing connections even when there was mutual interest. According to Brianna, the issue wasn’t a lack of opportunity, but the way she had come to associate sex with fear, power imbalance, and emotional harm.

Now, she says she’s ready to change that mindset. While she emphasized she isn’t rushing into anything reckless, her intention for the new year is to stop viewing intimacy as something negative or threatening and instead approach it on her own terms.

After a year of celibacy and emotional recovery, Brianna made it clear she wants 2026 to be about reclaiming her confidence, independence, and personal agency — and finally moving forward.
