Meghan Markle and Prince Harry made a rare public appearance with their two children, joining volunteers at a community event just ahead of Thanksgiving — the American holiday celebrated every fourth Thursday of November.
This time, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited Our Big Kitchen, a Los Angeles–based initiative that prepares and distributes meals to people in need. The couple rolled up their sleeves and took part in the work themselves, helping to bake cookies and pack food containers alongside other volunteers.

Meghan, 44, shared a photo on her Instagram Stories showing her and Harry, 41, fully involved in the kitchen activities. What immediately caught the public’s attention, however, was the presence of their children — six-year-old Archie and four-year-old Lilibet. Both were seen wearing tiny caps and aprons with the organization’s logo, standing near their parents as if they were part of the team. Though the Sussexes often strive to protect their children’s privacy, the image suggested that Archie and Lilibet, too, took part in the day’s work.

Since relocating from the U.K. to the United States, Meghan has gradually been sharing more glimpses of family life. The children have made short appearances on her lifestyle show Love, Meghan, and she occasionally posts photos from holidays or family outings — always careful not to reveal their faces fully.

Despite these cautious efforts, the Duchess continues to face criticism online. Many accuse her of using her children to promote her personal projects, sparking heated conversations on social media. Some sources even claim that Prince Harry is uncomfortable with the level of public visibility surrounding Archie and Lilibet, as well as with how Meghan manages his inherited finances — especially in light of ongoing scrutiny aimed at the couple.
For now, though, the Sussex family appears united in their desire to contribute to charitable causes and celebrate Thanksgiving by giving back to their community.
