KCPD searching for missing 11-year-old diagnosed with Autism

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) – The Kansas City Police Department is looking for a missing 11-year-old diagnosed with Autism.

KCPD says Brietta Edwards was last seen on Wednesday around 8:50 p.m. in the area of E. 34th and South Benton Ave. in Kansas City. She was last seen wearing a red hoodie, red sweatpants and red shoes. Edwards is 4′11″ and about 150 pounds.

Police say she is believed to be on foot. Her family has been unable to locate her and are worried about her wellbeing.
