‘Most tattooed woman’ to undergo ‘highly illegal’ procedure in Spain

Amber Luke is set to undergo another significant change in her body transformation as she heads overseas for a procedure that is considered “highly illegal” in Australia.

Known to her fans as “Dragon Girl,” Amber Luke from Australia is quite familiar with extreme makeovers.

The 31-year-old influencer has reportedly invested around $250,000 in changing her looks and boasts over 600 tattoos that cover nearly 98% of her body, as stated by Channel Nine.

In addition to her extensive tattoos, Australia’s “most tattooed woman” has made numerous modifications, such as blue tattooed eyeballs, fang-like teeth, small horns implanted in her forehead, and a split snake tongue.

Although her appearance often ignites discussions, the Australian influencer has consistently maintained that beauty is subjective and that everyone should have the freedom to express themselves as they wish.

“Everyone has their own opinions of what beauty is,” Luke shared on the Brisbane radio show Robin, Terry & Kip, according to the Daily Mail. “You see these cultures [where people] stretch their necks, their ears, their lips. But at the end of the day, we all are entitled to our opinion and that’s okay.”

This approach continues to influence her latest body modification plans.

Extreme modifications abroad

After traveling almost 10,000 miles from Australia to Barcelona, Luke disclosed her intention to undergo two procedures that are either severely restricted or practically unavailable in her home country.

Luke shared her journey with her followers on social media, expressing her excitement to finally proceed with the procedures she had been planning for years.

“Australia has made them highly illegal for seven years. I’m about to get two body mods done. I am super f**king keen,” she stated.

One of the modifications includes a silicone implant placed under the skin of her left hand.

Referred to as a subdermal implant, this procedure involves inserting a specially shaped piece of silicone beneath the skin, allowing the tissue to heal over it and form a raised design that is visible externally.

While similar implant technology is often used for medical reasons, like contraceptive devices, cosmetic body-modification versions encounter much stricter regulations in numerous countries.

Luke informed her followers that she has opted for a bow-shaped implant for her hand and is already concentrating on the recovery phase.

“The end result is obviously to have a nice implant, but obviously not let it heal all f**ked up,” she remarked. “That is going to be my mission while I’m in Barcelona just healing.”

Coin slot

The hand implant is just one aspect of the journey.

Luke is also considering a procedure referred to as a “coin slot,” which is a body modification that entails excising a small piece of tissue from the ear and then stitching the edges together to form a permanent opening.

This modification is named for its similarity to the slot found on vending machines.

“I am getting a coin slot in my ear. They remove a section from your helix to insert various earrings and layer them,” Luke shared.

“For the last year and a half, I have been planning to get this body mod in my hand, which is a silicone bow, and I am really looking forward to it!”

While coin slots aren’t completely prohibited in Australia, they are heavily regulated due to the surgical removal of tissue involved. In Spain, licensed medical professionals can legally perform the procedure.

Limited employment options

Although her appearance has contributed to her significant online presence, she has openly discussed the difficulties she encounters outside of social media, especially regarding job opportunities.

“I won’t sugarcoat it; it has limited my [employment] opportunities, but that’s alright,” the OnlyFans star mentioned, according to the Daily Mail.

“The way I see it, I don’t want to work for a company that’s narrow-minded [and can’t] see beyond my appearance.

“They won’t consider my work ethic, my morals, or my values, or what I can contribute.”

‘Proud of being’

In spite of the backlash and health issues related to some of her decisions, Luke has made it clear that she is far from done.

“The experiences I’ve had have made me incredibly resilient and strong. I’ve learned so much about anatomy,” she stated.

“I’ve completely transformed into someone I’m proud to be. I’m a strong woman who knows exactly what she wants and who she is.”
